FlipperHelper started because my wife needed a better way to track her car boot sale flipping business. She was using Google Sheets — and it was painful. So I built an app.
Day 1 — first working version: take a photo, log a price, save to JSON. Day 7 — multi-currency support and Google Drive photo sync. Day 14 — expense tracking, Money Flow analytics dashboard, and listing reminders. Day 18 — migrated from JSON files to SQLite for performance. Day 23 — complete Figma design system, every screen redesigned. Day 28 — onboarding flow, background sync, and full data backup/restore. Day 31 — production app with TestFlight beta, live on the App Store.
What started as a weekend hack became a real product. The entire app was built by one developer, with AI-assisted development using Claude Code.
